FEMEN Activists Go Topless In France To Protest Women’s Rights In Islam (NSFW VIDEO)
The Eiffel Tower is traditionally one of the world’s biggest tourist attractions, but this weekend it was the scene of something else very eye-catching.
The ladies of FEMEN is a woman’s activist group that originated in the Ukraine and are hardline fighters for women’s rights.
They’ve protested everything from sex tourism in the Ukraine, Putin’s election in Russia to violence against women in Turkey.
This time they hit up Paris,France to raise awareness of the lack of women’s rights in Islam.
Iranian human rights activist Mariam Namazi, a popular Lebanese actress Darina Al Jondy, well-known French feminist Arab Safia Lebdi were also present in this topless protest.
“Girls all over the world called for Muslim women to topless demarche as a sign of moral support to their disenfranchised sisters, wrapped in a veil, burnt with acid, beaten by whips,” cropped “knife crazy fanatics” – noted on the site FEMEN.
Not everyone may like how they get a message across, but it can’t be denied that they know how to make an issue relevant.
